Cost Breakdown:

Reshma’s Home needs to increase security around the entirety of the building. This infrastructure, gate, and salary of four rotating security guards is estimated to be $15,000. The building addition is estimated at $22,000 to finish the top floor. This number comes from a $107,419.00 total building cost estimation. The building will be 9,000 square feet once complete! The building is currently 2 floors and 6,000 square feet. We need a top floor so that the returning residents of RH have a place to call home during their holiday breaks from their next place of residency: The Hostiles. After completing Grade 5, the girls will be moved into an all girls hostile with higher education and a greater chance for a career. Below are the estimated costs to furnish and complete the top floor.

BEDROOMS

• Steel frame bunk bed – $170

• Two mattresses per bed – $45

• Two bed covers, two pillows and two pillow covers – $20

Total – $235 per bedroom

There will be room for 13 bunk beds, so we are projected to need $3,055.00 to furnish the girl’s bedrooms!

Sponsorships

Each child needs a committed sponsor to support school cost, clothing, extra education, food, medical bills, counseling, and anything else they might need.

The sponsorship costs are based off of current Orphanages in Bangladesh and current Taka to USD exchange rates.

We ask that our sponsors commit to at least 1 year of full term sponsorships. During this sponsorship, we would love for the sponsors to write their children, send pictures, and even take a trip to meet them if possible.

Your sponsored child will also be able to write you, email you, and send items at their desire. We encourage communication as these children will have no one to call family but each other.
